Sci-mate is a website where scientists can easily exchange and develop their ideas, skills and materials.

  • Listing Items (in an online science market place) is an easy way to promote and manage the distribution of anything of interest to other researchers or industry.
  • Articles allows members to prepare, publish and control their own open access online content while encouraging discussion and peer review.
  • Scientific discussion forums are an even easier way to build up a technical knowledge resource and gain the recognition for doing so.
  • Embedding another website is a way to draw together (and classify) information of interest to other academics that is already published elsewhere on the web.

Sharing ideas makes them valuable.

If you think you might have something with some sort of value - this is an easy and safe way to explore its potential.

Membership is now open to Research Scientists, Technology Managers, and Industry Representatives. Each group plays a critical roll in protecting IP, while making it available for broader application and development.

The site is an initiative of Dr Christopher Dyer, but is ultimately intended to be cooperatively run, owned and controlled by research scientist members with a research, not profit, focus. If you are interested in getting involved simply join and let yourself be known. Founding members will support any users interested in showing the benefits of cooperation.
