Editing an Article
From Sci-Mate Wiki
| Branch: Feedback-Wiki Type: Help Information Intention: For Publication Read/Write Permissions: Open Access | Authors : 21.05.2010 - Christopher Dyer - Sci-Mate |
Editing is as easy as clicking on the "Edit" button, typing some text and saving it. Nothing to it, but to do it.
Please note that it is not possible to upload, or paste formatted text into a html editor. We offer an easy to use text editor to manage input that requires no training for anyone with prior computer experience. It is possible to copy and paste text. Familiar buttons and drop down menu make formating easy, and inserting pictures or files is easy.
It is also possible to give an Article context by clicking a few options. You must at least define one relevant scientific discipline.
If you wish to control content of the Article, then check the option to be the Article Editor. While anyone can 'Edit' an Article, the Article Editor ultimately decides what goes and what stays.
Please cite references in the format of Cell for all statements of fact, except in Idea Articles.
