To make 1 liter of Super Broth or SB Media (for high plasmid yield bacterial culture) add the following incrediants while stiring with a magnetic stirring bee:
- 600 ml distilled water;
- 35g Tryptone;
- 20g Yeast extract;
- 5g NaCl;
- 2.5mls 2N NaOH;
- q.v. 1000ml distilled water.
